Parasite (sound installation, 2002)
Collaboration with architectes Atelier Big City at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, Montreal, the installation 'interchange/ échangeur' consits of a ramp structure with multiple exits (towards different rooms of the 'Laboratoires / Ground Zero' exhibition). The under-surface of this construction was encrusted with about fourty audio speakers connected by dangling wires to a radio scanner picking up live taxi dispatcher broadcasts. This sound moves from speaker to speaker across the underside of ''échangeur', varying in intensity according to the time of day, weather, etc.
